: Hello, do you know of any software that may be able to help you design your own aircraft? If so, could you please tell me who makes it or if you can't, could you suggest anyone who can help me? Thanks,

Answer : Hello David,
I don’t personally know of any aircraft design software, as I am building from a kit from Van’s Aircraft (see http://brian76.mystarband.net/RV-7Ahome.htm ). I do know there is software out there like that. I did a Google search for “aircraft design software” and found quite a number of links that look to be what you are looking for. I can’t vouch for how good or useful any are, or how cost-effective or easy to use any of them might be, though. One of the hits I got on that search is this link
which appears to be a directory of aircraft design software.
Between this directory and the Google results, I hope that provides you with what you are looking for.

This site is for all homebuilt planes, not any one particular type or brand, so the members there would be the most likely to have experience with using software like this.
